The purpose of ibatana is to provide a unique vantage point from which to experience African beauty, culture and intellectuality.

As young Nigerian immigrants who came to the US in our teenage years, we the founders have had the benefit of experiencing two different cultures and having both interwoven within us. This has afforded us a channel through which to connect fluidly from the Diaspora to the motherland. We seek to share this with you - our esteemed audience.
